Natural Latex

Natural latex is obtained from the sap of Hevea trees in South America, Africa and Southeast Asia.

The Hevea tree grows in tropical areas and countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, etc.

Juice is a mixture of water, sugar and protein. During the manufacturing process, this natural latex is mixed with accelerators and undergoes a series of processes to, for example, make the final product more or less flexible.

Latex is an incredibly versatile material that can be both strong and flexible, so it is used to make many of the things we are familiar with today.

.How to produce natural latex

Natural latex is obtained from the extract of the rubber tree, which is white in color. To extract latex, they cut a part of the tree bark and collect the liquid secreted from under the bark.

Man also uses this intelligence of nature and collects latex by cutting the bark of trees that produce natural latex.

Latex trees are usually ready to be harvested after about seven years of growth. A steel knife is used to cut thin strips of bark in a downward curve. This directs the white sap to a hole in a bucket attached to the tree.

After about six hours, the liquid flow stops. In that six-hour period, one tree can usually fill a bucket. Trees often rest for a while after being hit hard.

.Various trees produce latex, which has been observed in nature in different colors. White is the most common color of natural latex, although it also occurs naturally in other colors, including yellow

Many flowers, plants and trees produce latex, but not all of them can be used to make products.

The trees that produce latex are mostly located in South America, although with the spread of this material and its different uses, Southeast Asian countries have also started growing and planting trees that produce white latex.

Application
Latex is used for various products, such as gloves, mattresses, special shoes, hats, etc. Also, in the chewing gum industry, they use a type of latex that is produced from a certain tree.
Latex is used for various purposes, including the evaporation of liquid from materials and their hardening, in the production of paint, glue, cement and some other products.
